Then this Workshop is for you
This 3 week workshop is a great way to learn the basics in a non-competitive environment. The course is specifically designed for complete beginners or those wishing to gain a better understanding of Yoga or revise their Yoga practice.
The 3 classes will introduce you to:
- Sun salutation sequence – a sequence of 12 postures traditionally performed at the beginning of most yoga sessions.
- A step-by-step guide to simple yoga poses including standing postures, forward and backward bends and twists.
- Breathing practices and Relaxation techniques
You will learn how to position your body so that you can experience yoga at a gentle pace without feeling intimidated. I will demonstrate poses and make alignment adjustments to your individual level and ability and teach you how to work towards experiencing ease and stability in poses.
The aim of the course is to provide the grounding of a well-balanced stretching, strengthening and relaxing program so that you can progress to a regular yoga class with confidence and ease. It’s geared towards being relaxed and informal, and they’ll be time to ask as many questions as you like.
