Yoga For Beginners Workshop

Never done Yoga before? Unsure of what to do in a Yoga class?
Have no desire to put your foot behind you head!
Then this Workshop is for you.
The New Year is always a great time to start afresh, so if you’ve been thinking about trying Yoga then this is the perfect Workshop for you. Or perhaps you want to gain a better understanding of Yoga or brush-up your Yoga skills.
Don’t worry if you can’t touch your toes or you’re not flexible, as you will learn basic Yoga poses, including:
- Sun Salutation sequence – a sequence of 12 postures which are traditionally performed at the beginning of most yoga classes.
- A step-by-step guide to simple yoga poses including standing postures, forward and backward bends and twists.
- Yogic breathing practices – which calm the mind and body.
- Relaxation techniques.
The aim of the Workshop is to provide grounding so that you can progress to a regular yoga class with confidence and ease. It’s geared towards being relaxed and informal, and they’ll be time to ask as many questions as you like.
