This wellness day is open to all levels of practitioner to enjoy, rest and rejuvenate in the qualities of the heart space (also known as Cave of the Heart, where you connect with the qualities of the spiritual heart – peace, joy, harmony and love), but at the same time learning simple, easy yoga practices to relax and calm the mind and body. This supportive day will take you on an inner journey to explore being at harmony with your own nature. It can help you discover more joy, stability, clarity and a deeper knowledge of yoga so that you can open and allow it to nourish you.
What makes this day so enjoyable and beneficial?
Mindful yoga movement – This gentle sequence is designed to help you find freedom and stability in your body, your heart and your mind. I will guide you through this slow-paced, all-levels practice to help you awaken and connect with your inner radiance, releasing tension and stress in the body. When the body relaxes so does the mind.
Breathing practice – In this guided breathing practice, we’ll explore the subtle energies of the breath and the connection between the breath and the heart moving us towards the stillness and silence of the heart space.
Meditation on the heart space – Hridyakasha Dharana (Hridya (heart) Akasha (space) Dharana (concentration)). This meditation works with breath, awareness and emotion, witnessed within the space of the heart where feelings and emotions are transformed into the qualities of the spiritual heart – peace, joy, harmony and love. Yoga Nidra – A deep guided, relaxation to quieten the mind and awaken inner awareness creating healing potential for the mind and body. Whether you’re a beginner or a veteran practitioner, this will be a nurturing, feel good retreat day awaking greater compassion for yourself and others. Creating space in your heart where only happiness can grow and providing you with the perfect opportunity to water the seeds of courage, peace and strength in your heart.
