New Year Wellness Retreat - Harmony Within

This wellness day is open to all levels of practitioner to enjoy, rest and rejuvenate in the HARMONY WITHIN EACH OF US.

 

We don’t have to create anything or change ourselves, we just have to leave our busy doing-world for a while and reconnect with the harmony that is always there, within each of us.

 

In our Yoga practice, if we force our body’s into challenging shapes and postures we create struggle and tension. But if we move from the inside – there is harmony.

 

In breathing practice, if we fill our lungs to bursting, we creature discomfort and stress, not only in the body but the mind too. When we’re at ease with the gentle inhalation and exhalation – there is harmony. In meditation, if we get frustrated when the mind wanders,(which it likely will do) and we judge ourselves as success or failure, we lose. With kindness towards the wandering mind, without judging – we find harmony.

 

This supportive day will take you on an inner journey to explore being at harmony with your own nature. It can help you discover more joy, stability, clarity which will help us live more in harmony and with the world and ourselves.

What makes this day so enjoyable and beneficial?

Mindful yoga movement – This gentle sequence is designed to help you find freedom and stability in your body, your heart, and your mind. I will guide you through this slow-paced, all-levels practice to help you awaken and connect,, releasing tension and stress in the body. When the body softens and let’s go so does the mind.

 

Breathing practice –In this guided breathing practice, we’ll explore the subtle energies of the breath and the connection between the breath and the space within moving us towards the stillness and silence of the body and mind, creating calm balance.

 

Meditation – Put your busy world on silent for a while, in this guided meditation we’ll bring awareness to the mind, breath, and heart cultivating peace and harmony.

 

Yoga Nidra – A deep guided, relaxation to quieten the mind and awaken inner awareness creating healing potential for the mind and body. Whether you’re a beginner or a veteran practitioner, this will be a nurturing, feel-good retreat day to set you up for the year ahead.
