Mindfulness Taster Session
During this workshop the intention is to introduce you to mindfulness and the 4 week course in a quiet, peaceful environment, away from the hustle of daily life.
It will be an informative and experimental session that includes some simple mindfulness meditation practices to help you begin to get a feel for what it means to be more mindful.
For those that are interested in developing and integrating mindfulness into everyday life there will be time to find out more about the course/ It will provide an ideal opportunity to:
Discover what mindfulness is (and isn’t).
Look at “automatic pilot” mode and how this affects anxiety and stress.
Explore simple mindfulness practices and how they can be used in our daily life to help us become calmer, more relaxed, focused and energized. (home practice recordings will be provided).
Time for questions.
Who are the Workshops for? – Anyone with a curiosity about mindfulness.
This introduction/taster session is ideal for people who have heard about mindfulness but are unsure if they want to book the Mindfulness for Anxiety & Stress 4 session course. It’s an opportunity to meet the teacher and experience the principles and practices of mindfulness.
